A narrated gritty street photographer palette.
I saw an act of kindness is about my stay in Istanbul during the winter of 2016. Through random walks through Turkey’s metropole I intended to capture the city in a time when its inhabitants are dealing with a Syrian refugee crises, suicide bombings by the Islamic State, conservative religious street gangs and the lingering of a civil war in the East.
The images in this book are shot with an iphone4 in the districts of Beyoğlu, Fatih and Kadıköy. It’s a print-on-demand publication to ensure an autonomous and swift execution.
